Immersion
The Immersion Experience at Real Life Ministries (RLM) is a two day experience beginning at 8:00 AM on a Thursday morning. The morning is spent in a small group setting describing the philosophical paradigm that exists at RLM – Relational Discipleship. After lunch the participants will meet with our Home Group pastors to discuss how groups are incorporated in the RLM process. Later that afternoon the participants are allowed to interact with any all staff from RLM, we simply ask that you let us know the ministry areas you are interested in talking with.
That evening (Thursday) you will be provided with a list of home groups that are meeting in the area and you may freely choose any one of them to attend, we try to limit it to two participants per group. This will give you an experience of how home groups work here at RLM.
On Friday morning we will meet at 8:30 AM to discuss the experiences had so far and continue our discussion of relational discipleship and your personal journey as it relates to relational discipleship. That afternoon is scheduled to have time to meet with our head pastor Jim Putman. In the late afternoon we allow time for you or your group to begin to process how you might utilize relational discipleship at home. Our staff will be available to help you in that brain storming process. Our weekend services then begin at 6:00 PM and a second service is held at 7:30 PM. You are welcome to attend a service or one of the adult education classes we hold during those services.
